This site is published by Sodwave, the author of SLOOP. For any question about the site or SLOOP, open an issue on GitHub. The site is hosted by Hostinger.
SLOOP and M-VAVE
SLOOP is an independent, free and open-source firmware made by its community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by M-VAVE. M-VAVE and FM-1 are trademarks of their respective owners; they are named here only to say which device SLOOP runs on. The screens shown on this site are SLOOP's own interface, rendered from its source code.
SLOOP is based on Felucca by Leo Kuroshita / Hügelton Instruments. Its full credits are in the README.
Licence
SLOOP is free software under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Its source code is on GitHub. The screen font is Terminus (SIL Open Font License 1.1).
No warranty
Installing a custom firmware is done at your own risk. SLOOP is provided as is, without any warranty. Keep a backup of your work, and remember that the official firmware can be put back at any time from the installer page.
Privacy
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and collects no personal data.
- To show the latest SLOOP version, your browser asks GitHub's public API once an hour (GitHub's privacy statement). The answer is kept in your browser's local storage, nowhere else.
- The installer and the web editor are served by GitHub Pages. They talk to your FM-1 over USB from your own browser; nothing about your device or your music is sent anywhere.
- Like any web host, Hostinger may keep technical server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operation.
